D’varim “Words” Pt 3: Deuteronomy “D’varim” 1:22 – 38
Moses (Moshe) recounts how the people scouted out the Land and found it good, but lost faith and rebelled against God (Yahveh).
The Land Yahveh had for the children of Israel was good, and by His power, they could take it. But when they saw how great the opposition was, they lost faith, gave up, and refused to trust Yahveh to use them to take the Land.
He kept them in the desert, guided them in all their ways, but they would not trust Him. So, He took away that blessing from those who rebelled, and gave it to their children that He would raise in the desert to trust Him.
Whatever Yahveh may be calling us to do, however difficult it may appear, let us trust Him and follow Him in love and trust. He is our Father, He will carry us through the desert, and make us able to do whatever He has for us. We can trust Him!
