This section opens when Yahveh tells Moses (Moshe) “You have been going around the mountain long enough…” Yahveh gives us time of rest and healing, or in this case, discipline to teach faith and boldness. But these times end with action. At some point, Yahveh calls us to move out and take the Land.
When that time comes, we need to be willing to move out of our comfort zone. Hebrews 4:3-11 tells us, that when the time comes, we are to enter His “rest” boldly, to do by faith what we are called to. The Sabbath is a time of rest and renewal, but we enter His full rest in all of our lives when we enter into His full plan for our lives.
Yahveh has wonderful things for those of us who have received Yeshua as our Loard and Savior. “All things work together for good…” (Romans 8:28). So let us enter His rest, not merely by being renewed by Him, but by boldly serving Him, resting in the assurance of His power, love, and grace.
