B’har Pt 3: Lev. 25:19-24
The land would provide for the people during its 7-year Shabbat rest. It would do so because it is Yahveh’s land, not the people’s land, and so Yahveh provides from it, not the people for themselves. We need to give everything to Him, because it is all His anyway. When it is time for us to work, we trust Him to prosper our work, and when it is time for us to rest, we trust Him to continue providing. We are free in Messiah Yeshua: free from fear, from anxiety, from striving, because we know our Father will care for us, as we love Him, trust Him, and obey Him.
