B’chukkotai Pt. 3, Lev. 26:10-46
A really long section, regarding punishment for rejecting Yahveh. Why so long? Because when we are separated from Yahveh, it seems so long.
But note, that we are called to listen to Him; our problem is not “following the rules” to pay off Yah, but obeying Him because we love Him and hear Him.
When we stray, He will punish us as a Father; but when we turn, He will receive us back, and even when punishing, He promises to preserve us so we can come back. The Father sent His Son to die on our behalf, we can trust Him to bring us back when we turn back to Him.
