D’varim “Words” Pt 1: Deuteronomy “D’varim” 1:1 – 11
Moses (Moshe) reminds and clarifies to the people of how they are to live as God’s (Yahveh’s) people.
This is not a “second law”, but a review, as verse 3 states. The people are entering the Land. They will have new lives, and Yahveh wants those lives to be happy and prosperous. So, He has Moshe instruct them anew in how to live and walk as His nation, His children, His treasure.
We also enter new areas of life, and when we do, it is good to review Yahveh’s instructions, to seek the Spirit to guide us in new paths. We are mightily enabled to move forward; we are loved, redeemed, and empowered through Yeshua and by the Spirit, to walk before the Father in love, joy, and peace, in awe of our amazing Abba rather than fear and trepidation.
Yahveh, open our hearts to truly know your living Torah, your Son, Yeshua, and walk in grace and power!
