Balak “Balak == waste,destruction” Pt 2: Numbers 22:13-20
Bilaam (Balaam) listens to God (Yahveh) and says no, but Balak will not take “No” for an answer. So, he sends more to persuade Bilaam to go to curse Israel. Bilaam has the answer, but he asks again. Yahveh tells him to go with the men, but only to do what he is told.
At this point, Bilaam is being tempted, but Yahveh does have a plan, and Bilaam must stick to that plan despite all the temptations put on him.
We often know what Yahveh wants, but the world keeps calling us to something else. It is often hard, but we need to consistently seek His face to see how He wants us to walk, and do so in obedience. We need to trust Him, which also means to obey Him. If we do so, He will have the victory, and we will be blessed.
