Shlach L’kha “Send on your behalf” Pt 6: Numbers 15:17-26
We are to acknowledge God (Yahveh) in our daily lives. When bread was prepared, a piece (“challah”) was set aside for God (Yahveh) out of gratitude and recognition that He is our provider. Likewise, we are to follow His ways, and if we err, He has a path for us to repent.
Our Abba (Father) loves us, His paths are paths of peace, to restore our knowledge of Him, our love for Him, our dependence on Him, our relationship with Him.
The goal is, to bear good fruit from being planted in His Word (Torah, “instructions to hit the target”), and become the image of Him that He created us to be. That is loving Him. That is what He desires of us.
