B’midbar (In the Wilderness) Pt. 7: Numbers 4:1-20
Yahveh assigns Levites to carry the Most Holy items, but not to touch them. This is a lesson about respect; even when carrying the items, or packing them up, respect was to be shown to them, as respect for Yahveh.
Likewise, we need to respect each other as Yahveh’s “holy property”. We each were bought at a price: we each are holy to Him, we each belong to Him, we each are loved and precious to Him.
Let us treat each other, and all the things of Yahveh (the Word, prayer, prophecy) with respect for Yahveh and how he sees us.
