Yahveh told Moshe to take a census of the clans of the Levites, and assign specific tasks to each person.
Yahveh is a God of order. He wants us to do quality, complete, and organized work in His service, out of love for Him and each other.
When we do what Yahveh has assigned to us, and do it well, we show love and respect to Him and to each other.
