Yeshua/Jesus Made Us Clean

Chukat “Regulation (wisdom) (from the Torah/Instructions to the goal) Pt. 2: Numbers 19:18-20:6

The unclean person, and anything that has touched a dead person (even the grave) is to be sprinkled with the water for purification; the one who sprinkled became unclean for the day.
God (Yahveh) shows us that we need to be cleansed, not by our own efforts, but by the efforts of another, who is willing to become unclean on our behalf. Yeshua is the one who became unclean, who took on the taint of sin, so that we could be cleansed of sin. And He washed His clothing, by trading His earthly body for a redeemed body when He resurrected.
Likewise, we should be willing to “get our hands dirty”, not with sin, but by sprinkling His Word on a tainted world, reaching out to the lost on His behalf with the Good News. Then we will be made truly clean, not by our own works, but by the touch of Yeshua Himself.
